A 3.5 star. It's not a bad spot BUT it does get a bit more focused with locals staying here for long periods of time. I would describe it as a tiny bit dodgy as you can tell by the darts and trash on the ground to having a lot of cans, meat, muffins and other garbage found in our fire pit (pulled into our spot at night in Aug). That's also an indication that not a lot or any wildlife around (for those curious). The pricing is very good and reasonable here with good/decent amenities (shower and washrooms). There's a lot of recreational activities you can partake in at this park plus a playground for kids. It's not bad if you're in and out for the night but for someone outside the city and wanting to stay longer, it's ok.

Campsite was nice and treed and beautiful, but it was very tight to get into and someone even had to move there truck so we could make it in. Lots of permanent sites with decks and structures. Seemed like a very tight nit golf cart community.Bathrooms were NOT cleaned the entire time we were there which was 4 days. So happy we had the camper bathroom but no water on site so we didn't enjoy that.Had a nice fishing lookout with beautiful views.The beach was the worst beach I've ever been to. It was so full of rocks and seaweed and birds. Was disgusting and never cleaned up. The shore was so full of sea weed that bugs were all over it and swarming everywhere. Overall I would not go back for too many reasons.

Clean and quiet. Friendly residents and staff. Gravel roads leading into the park, but nonetheless a ni e safe place to stay. We stayed in a 50 am full service pull through.

We went for overnight camping with our trailer, it was very quiet. They have a beautiful beach, restaurant, tennis court, and several more activities.

Hold the annual fireworks competition every year . Great event to take in . There is a good concession here and plenty of camping spots and washrooms . Good fishing and boating also .

Not open in the winter but a great place in the summer and a great place to get on the lake for ice fishing in the winter and docking your boat in the Summer.
